procedures as an outpatient with a 24 hour stay in a recovery
care center. The patient can either be asleep with general
anesthesia or regional anesthesia, where the patient has a
spinal anesthetic and is able to be awake during the procedure.
99% of our patients are able to be discharged in less than 24
hours, with the average stay being about 19. We feel
comfortable with letting our patients attempt pregnancy about
two weeks after surgery. Overall success rates are 61% and the
average patient conceives in about seven months."
