Larry and I met in May of 1990 and were married in July of 1991.  I had my Tubal 6 weeks after the birth of my second child Christopher. This was done by my own choice, with the doctor fully against it, but yet I went ahead with it.  I was 22 at the time and having my 2nd child and going through my 2nd divorce...I knew there was no way I could go through this
again...so I had the Tubal.  Well as soon as I awoke from the surgery I knew I had made the wrong choice...but it was too late.  At this time in my life I was running from God and had no intentions on letting Him take control, since I couldn't keep things together myself you would think that I would have opted for other measures....but I didn't.
    I moved back to Louisiana with my parents in March of 1990 just short of having a nervous breakdown.  They were a big help to me as I started my life over.  I met Larry 2 months later but we broke up several times during the next year
because I felt it wrong for him to be so young and try to raise my 2 boys and knowing that I couldn't have anymore. But he was adamant about it saying that it didn't matter if we never had any because he had my 2 boys.  But it really bothered me!  Well we got married in July 1991, Larry adopted David and Christopher in 1996.  It is kind of funny to look at the birth certificates because of Larry's age at the time of birth for David is 16 and for Chris is 19...hmmm God really does have a sense of
humor...I had never really thought about this until I read another testimony from one of the families on BA....at 16 Larry was in high school...and probably not thinking of having children...well the Lord knew what He was doing...Thank heavens.
    Larry and I rededicated our lives to the Lord and I repented of my sin and thus the search began, to find out how to go about a reversal....well needless to say the cost was outrageous, and so there it came to a halt...We began to pray and seek
Gods will for us in this area...one night while I was on the internet looking for info about reversals the Lord led me to BA...what a God send for sure...I must say that during the waiting period while being involved with BA the Lord has taught us so many things...especially how to trust Him...I must admit that at first the idea of leaving full control of how many children we would have in His hands was really scary...but He leads us to the paths of righteousness...we have never given up praying and
believing for a miracle healing in my tubes, but also believe that the Lord will provide one way or another for me to be whole again...and in the process He continually teaches us what His will is for our lives.
    I know that however many blessings the Lord gives us He will also provide all that is needed to care for them....that is no longer a concern of mine...it is our main goal in life to serve the Lord with all of our hearts and lives...and to raise our children in a Christ filled home...Larry has no biological children of his own (yet) but we are praying and believing that soon that will be resolved...We are so thankful to BA and its leaders for hearing the voice of the Father and obeying...God Bless
