Dear Ones,
 My testimonial about our decision to get the vasectomy initially, the subsequent miraculous conception, the return of Mark's
 sterility, and our decision to have the reversal done is all another story...a good one. But lenghty.

This testimonial is of God's leading and the work He performed through Dr. Michael Stanton.

 When we first began seeking out doctors, we looked primarily at three doctors, all good doctors, and all obedient to the call of the lord to offer reversals at a discount as a ministry to others. As  we settled in on choosing Dr. Stanton, we had a peace in our spirit. Dr. Stanton personally called me the very same day I had called his office to ask questions and verify some details. I found assurance that he was Spirit-led in this ministry. We arrived in town, having a 10 hour car trip, to meet his family, Thursday, April 8. Early the next morning we met the staff, and Dr. Stanton's surgical assistant. Mark and I spent some time in Dr. Stanton's office sharing our testimonies and praying for the guidance and blessing of the Lord, and thanking Him for the changes He has brought in our hearts.

The surgery was done in an exam room in the office, under local anesthesia, with melodious music playing. I was with Mark
 through the surgery. It was uncomfortable for him, but not much worse than the vasectomy, just longer. It took about 1 1/2
 hours to repair what only took about 20 minutes to destroy. Is that not true in many areas of life as well?  We went back to our room and Mark spent the day reading a book given to us by Dr. Stanton, _A Full Quiver_, by Rick and Jan Hess. Excellent reading for anyone searching for God's truth in the area of trusting God for the size of your family.

We returned home the next morning. Mark even did most of the driving  back home, so I know he was not in great pain. He
 recovered from the surgery very quickly, and very thoroughly.  We did a pregnancy test Saturday, June12, just two months after the surgery, and I am happy to be able to tell you that I am  already expecting! We are due in mid Feb. 2000. Praise the Lord for  His healing and saving power.

We made the decision last summer to get my vasectomy reversed but didn't do anything about it at first.  We did not have the money for the surgery and I wasn't entirely decided about the VR.  When I found the Blessed Arrows website God convicted me about the need to follow through on getting my vas reversed.

My first experience with Dr. Stanton was a surprise.  I called his office and the receptionist took a message.  It was sure a surprise when he called back in less than five minutes.  We arranged for the surgery for October 8th.  The money still was a problem.  We ended up selling one of our cars which paid for the surgery, a family vacation to Arkasas, and a few other bills we had.  God is good, it was just enough money.  A week later I found out I got a new job where I would be living
at my work with housing and a car provided, so we didn't need the car we sold after all.  About two weeks before the surgery Satan started casting doubts at us.  It was about that time there was a debate on Blessed Arrows about the type of surgery Dr. Stanton uses, not being as effective as other types.  After much prayer, we decided to go ahead with the surgery--putting our trust in God, not a doctor; but following through on undoing the sin we had done with the vasectomy.

We made it to Arkasas and arrived at Dr. Stanton's office, which is in a Hospital. He was running late because he got called out for an emergency but his office was great.  When he arrived, we prayed in his office and shared testimonies and then went into the room for surgery.  The surgery was done with a local and was mostly painless.  I spent the rest of that day in the Hotel room but was able to start driving back to Florida the next day.

We found out less than 3 months later Amy was pregnant--Praise God!.

Reversal baby #1 born September 2000

We are back  and I have a wonderful testimony to share with you!!!!!!!!
My Husband had the surgery done Wed. morning at 7:30, I got to be in the room.  The Dr.  prayed with us first and talked with us and then began the surgery............the shots were pretty rough!!!
But all in all it went well, the surgery lasted aprox. 1 1/2 hours, after it was done we met in his office to go over things.
All the things we should and shouldn't do.        When we were getting ready to leave, he said  "one more thing............... someone has donated some money and that it was to go towards the next person who had a reversal done".........he
said "you don't owe me anything"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I sat there and cried!!!
We stepped out in faith not knowing where the money would come from.......we just knew that we had to be obedient............that was our first blessing for obedience!!!!!!

Its still a shocker for us!!!!!!
That was $1,100.00. Thats no small thing!!!!!         :)
Our Heavenly Father is sooooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!   HalleluYAH!!!!!!!!

After the surgery Steve was pretty sore, but he never took anything except Advil.    The next day he was much better and hasn't taken anything since.......
PRAISE ELOHIM!!!!!!!!!

He is a bit tender of course, but we are so thankful that it is done and now we feel confident that we put our lives totally back  in His hands!!!!!!!
